Does anyone make a mobility scooter with a high back reclining seat?

    I doubt it. The physics of weight and balance probably prevent this from being a reality…the scooter would tip over.

    Motorized wheelchairs are difficult to find with this benefit, to begin with. It’s more costly, but I also have to have a high back, and recliner.

    I’ve rented high back chairs, and one did ease back but not to a reclining.

    I like the performance of the jazzy-type motorized wheelchairs btw. They have anti tip wheels, can go up a curb, and have long enough seats that my legs are fully supported. Goldens are also suitable, imo. I need power to go up bus ramps, which many of the lesser priced units just can’t do.

    If you want/need a reclining back- you need a power chair not a scooter. You do not recline while you drive a scooter and a scooter is for driving not sitting, but you can recline a power chair when you are not moving.

    My son has this scooter which has a reclining back. I have a similar older model that also has this feature. See source below.
