Where can I take my 49cc scooter to get tuned-up?

The place I bought it was a mom/pop shop and it is not a name brand scooter like yamaha, honda, paggio, etc. It is a cheapie scooter used (mostly) for getting from point A to point B and a few mild road trips here and there. I cannot do much of the maintenance myself because of my disabilities. It is too difficult physically for me so I will need a mechanic.

Although it is still new and doesn’t need any maintenance right now, I need to know for future reference, where can I take it? A regular car mechanic or a motorcycle shop? Where do you take yours?
